Miranda de Saint-Rome

PhD Student

Miranda graduated from the University of Toronto in 2018 after completing a double major in Neuroscience and Biology, with a minor in Physiology. She joined the Woodin lab in 2019 upon completion of a research placement at the University of Oxford’s Auditory Neuroscience Group. Her research interests include receptor dynamics and molecular pathways in inhibitory neurotransmission. Her PhD project in the Woodin Lab aims to characterize neuornal hyperexcitability in the C9orf72 model of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
